our journey started in 2015. In 2022 we stopped offering our services and today our intention is to share everything we learned in the past 8 years.
In 2015, Papel & Co. was founded as a Calligraphy and Graphic Design company.
It wasn’t until the first invitation was made for a friend that sparked a love for the finished product- to have and to hold.
Something about being able to feel the paper and print is simply captivating.
Every human being, without exception, is a creator at heart.
My hope is that my classes bring you the insights necessary to bring your creations to life, providing a sustainable source of income and a personal container for your evolution.
Because, when you start a business journey you are also navigating through your own personal growth.

GRADUATED AS A PRODUCT DESIGNER

WORKED AS A TOY DESIGNER AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR
PURCHASED a pilot press & FOIL PRESS MACHINE AND STARTED PRINTING IN HOUSE (as in, my kitchen), hired my first employee
in 2017
TOOK AN ONLINE CALLIGRAPHY CLASS, QUIT MY JOB, STARTED OFFERING CALLIGRAPHY SERVICES, TEACHING WORKSHOPS AND DESIGNING WEDDING INVITATIONS
in 2015
in 2020
DESIGNED A COLLECTION OF FOIL PRESSED WEDDING INVITATIONS and our sales increased significantly. The team grew to a total of 5.
Our clients were requesting other products to go along with their invitations. So a line of ready to purchase products was created.
in 2019
THE WORLD CHANGED as we knew it.
MOVED TO A BIGGER STUDIO and invested IN MORE industrialized PRINTING EQUIPMENT.
all of our projects got canceled. THINGS WERE UPSIDE DOWN BUT OUR FOIL PRESSED PRODUCTS IN the SHOP carried us through during this time
AGAINST THE ODDS WE LAUNCHED OUR SECOND LINE OF WEDDING COLLECTIONS. WE HAD THE MOST SALES SINCE THE COMPANY STARTED. at the same time WE SLOWLY ADDED MORE FOIL PRESSED PRODUCTS TO OUR ONLINE SHOP
RENTED the FIRST STUDIO SPACE, HIRED 2 MORE girls TO HELP WITH PRINTING AND DESIGN

AFTER TONS OF REQUESTS I DECIDED TO PUT TOGETHER SOME OF THE foundational LESSONS I HAD ACQUIRED IN THE INDUSTRY AND CREATED MY FIRST ONLINE CLASS: PLANT & GROW
in 2022
I MISSED CONNECTING WITH OTHERS AND DECIDED TO OPEN A STORE-FRONT IN OUR STUDIO WHERE WE SELL OUrs & other artists' PRODUCTS
UNDERSTOOD HOW MUCH FOIL PRESS PRINTING HAD SHAPED MY PATH AND DECIDED I WANTED TO TEACH THIS ART to others AND SEE THEM GROW IN THEIR OWN JOURNEY. SO, MY CLASS,
THE ART OF FOIL PRESS PRINTING, WAS born.
right after, the pricing calculator was created as I realized how empowering it was for people to get comfortable pricing their creations.
REALIZED MY TIME CREATING WEDDING INVITATIONS HAD COME TO AN END. DECIDED TO FOLLOW MY CREATIVITY AND CURIOSITY AND STARTED DESIGNING MORE PRODUCTS FOR OUR SHOP
